- Ralf Thoenes re-elected to weclapp SE’s Supervisory Board.
- Stefan Thies and Prof. Dr. -Ing. Johannes Maucher also appointed to the Supervisory Board.

Frankfurt/M., Germany, 14 June 2021 – The Annual General Meeting of weclapp SE, provider of the cloud-based platform of the same name, approved the appointment of new members to the Supervisory Board on 8 June 2021. Stefan Thies and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Johannes Maucher follow on from Christoph Hellrung and Andreas Odenbreit. Ralf Thoenes was re-elected to the Supervisory Board.
At the constituent Supervisory Board meeting on 10 June 2021, the Supervisory Board elected Ralf Thoenes as Chairman and Stefan Thies as Deputy Chairman.
“With its expertise in the key areas of corporate governance, finance and artificial intelligence, weclapp SE’s Supervisory Board is optimally equipped to perform the upcoming tasks – on a corporate level as well as with regard to the weclapp platform,” emphasises Ertan Özdil, CEO and founder of weclapp SE. “We would particularly like to thank the outgoing Supervisory Board members Christoph Hellrung and Andreas Odenbreit for their valuable work on behalf of weclapp SE and are delighted that they will remain closely connected with us in their respective roles as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Legal Officer of our parent company 3U HOLDING AG.”
Together with Chairman Ralf Thoenes, Christoph Hellrung and Andreas Odenbreit had served on the Supervisory Board since the merger of weclapp into a European company (SE).
“We are currently in discussion with possible candidates with a view to enlarging weclapp SE’s Management Board. This will bring us closer to our goal of becoming the leading ERP provider for small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe and in the global arena,” Özdil says.

With his academic background, Prof. Maucher complements the Supervisory
Board as a technology expert with his expertise in the fields of artificial
intelligence and machine learning.
